This gentle candle-lit restorative class uses a series of simple poses, in which the body is fully supported by props. Poses will be held for an extended period of time promote deep relaxation.
Restorative Yoga helps the body to de-stress, bolsters immunity and helps improve digestion and sleep. This class is appropriate for students of all levels.
About the Instructor: Kellie Green
Yoga has been an essential part of Kellie’s life since 2003. Kellie first began training in Prenatal yoga at Kripalu in 2008 after discovering how her doula clients benefited from yoga. In 2009, she began teaching children’s yoga at Gilda’s club to help children cope with cancer diagnoses. In 2016 Kellie graduated from Bloom Yoga's 200hr teacher training. Though classically Hatha yoga trained, Kellie’s style gathers intelligence from many schools of yoga. She practices a non-judgmental philosophy while striving to meet you as you are.
