The word Sattva means balanced, whole, complete and truth. Sattva yoga is a practice from the Himalayas of India that includes the whole of yoga: asanas (poses), pranayama (breath work), kriya (ecstatic movement), and meditation. Each class is structured as a journey, to lead you to your true, whole, complete self. Sattva yoga is ideal for everyone, from beginners to experienced yogis, since it works on all layers of the body, mind, and spirit and can be modified to suit every practice level.
